I Know You

Ya’ know something … making money from the comfort, safety and security of one’s own home is a dream many people have.

To be able to work at one’s own speed and create enough income to not need a steady job is doable as is evidenced by the thousands of people already doing it.

BUT …

It’s not free.

It’s not simple.

It’s not easy.

It’s not instant.

In spite of what you may have been told or read somewhere.

It is, again, doable. It is a worthwhile endeavor!

Presentation + Preparation + Implementation + Persistence = Success

Everybody wants to hit a home run immediately – occasionally – someone does – but, for the most of us, that ain’t how it works.

LOOK – if I were to tell you how free, simple, easy and instant this make money online thing is, after you found out that it isn’t so free, simple, easy and instant … well … you’d get frustrated and quit.

That failure rate that people talk about? 90 some odd percent? Well, it’s not failure, it’s quiting because of misinformation, information overload or just plain old frustration.

Ya’ gotta’ get the basics down! Once one is secure in that knowledge – then – one is ready for the onslaught of changes that do occur.

Now, I’ve neglected this blog for quite some time because I’ve been working in other niches. Health and wellness, relationships and automotive to be exact.

I’ve decided to do two things with this site/blog – pursue the Internet marketing niche and make this my test/review blog for the various plug-ins and tactics that I’ve recently learned and/or purchased.

Hopefully, you have a test blog – it’s a necessity but use it as a test blog – not the way I’m using this blog. This is actively promoted.

The main site is using XSite Pro to create the pages and this blog is wordpress oriented for page and post creation.

What I offer on the main site, at no cost to you other than your time, is a large selection of educational Internet marketing related training videos. I’m using Amazon S3 to store the videos and ezs3 to manage the video’s players and security.

I will be adding videos to the blog (recently purchased a set of I.M. tips in both text as well as video format. Update! They are now up – go to the public access area of the site and scroll down a bit – you’ll see the link, I’m sure) that will use a different approach to video management than ezs3. Just testing. Update! haven’t added any videos to the blog as of yet – am going to work with a plugin called Fast Member – offer a membership and then add video to the blog.

I will be changing themes and I will be hacking the default theme as per Steve Dougherty’s video series on doing that which will be available to you through the main site – soooo – occasionally this blog may not be here because I’m learning from my mistakes. So be it!

The main site will remain stable as well as added to for as long as I can find and/or create quality, current yet also basic Internet Marketing educational material to put on it.
